With football back on TV, I was invited by a friend to a Monday Night Football party yesterday. I usually like watching the game by myself so that I can analyze the games going on because I like to refer to myself as a “sports analyst” come football time – I bet on football games every weekend for the duration of the regular season into the playoffs. I like to watch other sports as well, but there’s something about the NFL that has me “investing” into my sports knowledge. And at season’s end, I always ended up on the positive side.

My buddy (the one throwing the party) is a bookie as his side job and he loves when football season comes around because he gets a good amount of pocket change at the end of every week from these lame squares who are chasing dreams of parlaying bets. I, myself, prefer to just bet on one team and ride that bet out – win or lose. sex winning three games out of four. I thought of becoming a bookie, but I didn’t want to lose friends over debt nor did I want to get cracked by any of them.
